HLS Cannulae are used
to access appropriate blood vessels

To link the life support system to the patient for cardiac support and/or respiratory assistance, vessel access is needed. The new specially developed HLS Cannulae can be inserted percutaneously or with a surgical cut-down. Arterial and venous cannulae are available in several outside diameters (from 15 to 29 Fr.) and lengths (from 15 to 55 cm) allowing individual selection for peripheral cannulation to be made based on the patient’s need.
- Optimized transition between introducer and cannula tip
- Reinforced with a flat wire for lowest wall thickness and high flow rates
- Locked introducer to keep introducer in place during insertion
- Hardened proximal cannula body to prevent kinking
- Unique depth marks to control insertion depth
- Cannula bodies are made of biocompatible polyurethane
- BIOLINE Coating
- Extended application time of 30 days in combination with an HLS Set Advanced
