CARDIOHELP System

In addition to pressure and temperature sensors, the HLS Module Advanced is the only gas exchanger / VAD disposable to offer an integrated high-tech sensor for measuring the important parameters of venous saturation (S_vO₂), hematocrit (Hct) and hemoglobin (Hb) plus venous temperature (T_ven). Up until now these parameters could only be measured by in-line sensors using a separate monitor. The product is approved to supply extracorporeal life support (ECLS) for cardiac support  and/or respiratory assistance or pump assisted lung protection (PALP) for CO₂ removal for a period of up to 30 days.
